He is survived by: his wife Sandee Garule of Mapleton, IA; his children, Stephanie Garule (Ashley) of Sioux City, IA, Megan Garule of Castana, IA, Jesse Garule (Stephanie) of Austin, TX, Dakota Garule of Mapleton, IA and Annee Garule of Mapleton, IA; his grandchildren, Effie Garule, Nash Cleveland and Cruz Cleveland; his sister Diana Hoagland (Bill) of Bennington, NE; and his sisters-in-law, Ann Garule of Hooper, NE and Cheryll Garule of Shenandoah, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
