It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rex Darrell Barber of Mapleton, Iowa, born in Oto, Iowa, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex T Barber and Addie Barber; and his son Rex A. "Brub" Barber. He is survived by: his children, Susan Dather, Tim Barber (Patty), Corinne West (Sam), Dominic Barber (Holly) and William Barber (Kathryn); and his siblings, Betty Green, Patty Parks, Gordon Barber, Karen Pearson and Dennis Barber. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
