With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Michaelson (Mapleton, Iowa), who passed away on March 22, 2018 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Uhl and Genevieve Uhl. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Shanahan, Mike Shanahan of Omaha, Jody Boyd of Sioux City, Jason Shanahan, Regina Shanahan of Omaha, Lori Swallow, Vince Swallow of Omaha, Julie Mahler, John Mahler of New York, Jenny Boyle and Rick Boyle of Sioux City; her great grandchildren, Serena, Alex, Alison, Ray and Dannon; her great great grandchild Jett; and her sister Nancy Myers of Grand Junction. She is also survived by her husband, parents, two brothers and two sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to family to memorialize Mike and Norma through a future project.
