She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest E. Nutt and Ethel A. Nutt (Nielsen); her former husband Maurice Sonny; her siblings, Harold Nutt (Marjorie), Jerry Nutt (Sharon), Roger Nutt and Karen Houchens (Melvin); and her sister-in-law JoAnn Thies.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Thies of Mapleton, IA; her daughter Melissa Satre (Dean); her son-in-law Michael Allen; her grandchildren, Griffin Satre, Nicole and Lauren Allen; and her brother-in-law Irvin Thies.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be sent directly to the support of missionaries for the Lord Jesus payable to Mission Central at 40718 Highway E-16, Mapleton, Iowa 51034, which was the love of Maxine's life, that she helped to establish for 30 years!
