She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Hesse and Katie Hesse (Henning); her stepson Robert Hugh; her husbands, Gayland Hamann and Robert Reimer; and her siblings, Marge Maxfield, Vera Bennett and Fred Hesse.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy and Patty (Eddie Fox) of Phoenix, Arizona; her stepdaughters, Mary Lynne, Judith and Amy Jo; and her children, Sheldon Hamann (Roxie) of Anthon, Iowa, Kathryn (Craig Christiansen) of Omaha, Nebraska, Lyndon Hamann of Sioux City, Iowa and Clinton Hamann (David Martinez) of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Schleswig.
