He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Cook and Leottie Cook (Jones); his wife Ruth Cook; his daughters, Rebecca Harbaugh and Barbara Swee (Bryan); his siblings, Ed, Laurence, Don, Bill, Rosalie and Ruby; and his parents-in-law, Henry and Ada Belle Blanche Foss.
He is survived by: his daughter Jody Fitzpatrick of Waterloo, IA; his grandchildren, Matthew Harbaugh, Nicholas Swee (Lucy), Jacy Fitzpatrick (Zoe Woodworth) and John Fitzpatrick (Andrea); his great grandchild Murphy Fitzpatrick; and his son-in-law Stephen Harbaugh of Orlando, FL.
