He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kruse and Freda Kruse (Meyer); his wife Naomi Cherry; his son Mark; and his siblings, Marvin, Ralph and Mahela Wendt (George).
He is survived by: his great grandchild Kyler; his children, David Kruse (Leo) of Washington, D. C. and Sandy Anderson (Scott) of Onawa, IA; his grandsons, Benjamin and Samuel; his sisters, Clara Hoffmeier (Harry) of Denison, IA and Delores Gosch (Ronald) of Mapleton, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Kruse (Marvin) of Mapleton, IA and Lucille (Ralph) of Denison, IA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
