She was predeceased by: her parents, David Mann and Alice Mann (Phillips); her husband Arthur L. Castle; her brother David "Sonny" Mann; her cousin Barbara "Sis" Ingram; her close friend Joan Sullivan; and her pet Max.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Shelby; her daughters, Connie Kass (Ken Schmidt) of LeMars, IA, Kathryn Petersen (Stan) of Danbury, IA and Deborah Jensen (Mark) of Mapleton, IA; her grandchildren, Andrew Weikel (Samantha Henderson), Bailey Petersen, Brandee DeBoom (Jay), Brittany Weikel (Eric Clarke), Cole Jensen (Madeline Bjorklun) and Brandon Kass; her great grandchildren, Everett Weikel and Neva Weikel; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Mann, Darlene Williams, Jim Castle and Gary Castle (Betty). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and neighbors.
