With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Gust of Mapleton, Iowa, who passed away on January 30, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Curt F. Hoffman and Lorine Hoffman (Kahrs); her husband Lawrence H. Gust of Mapleton; her parents-in-law, Herman and Ruth Gust; her sisters, Virginia Massie, Phyllis Nutt and Mary Zahn; and her sister-in-law Lorene Gust.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Gust of Ames, IA, Anthony Gust (Shirley) of Council Bluffs, IA, Steven Gust of Mapleton, IA and Audrey Gust of Mapleton, IA; her stepgrandchildren, Dawn, David and Daniel Letcher; and her sister June Riddle. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbors.
