She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Barnes and Margaret Barnes (McCall); her husbands, Marvin Mauch, Sr. and Lloyd Snow; her son David Mauch (Nancy); her son-in-law Ray Pierick; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Ryan, Anthony and Liz; her great grandchildren, Isaiah and Evelyn; and her sisters, Betty Barnes, Donna Hintz and Joan Ohlmeier.
She is survived by: her children, Marvin Mauch Jr. (Linda), Becky Smizer (Tracy), Colleen Owens (Paul), Stephen Mauch (Penny), Lori Gosch (Les) and Tina Blair (Maxwell); and her sisters, Janet Schneekloth and Kathy Carlson. She is also survived by thirty-four grandchildren, sixty-six great-grandchildren; nineteen great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel (1629 10th St, Onawa, IA 51040). A wake was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (703 Heisler St, Mapleton, IA 51034).
