We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2020, at the age of 72, Byron M. Petersen (Mapleton, Iowa), born in Sioux City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Petersen and Roberta Petersen (Lewis); his parents-in-law, James and Wilma Groszkrueger; and his sister Janice Umbach (Tom).

He is survived by: his wife Marcia Lynn Groszkrueger of Mapleton, IA; his daughters, Britton Petersen (John Morrissey) of Port Orchard, WA and Hillary Seuntjens (Peter) of Danbury, IA; his grandchildren, Jackson Morrissey, Brady and Reagan Seuntjens; and his sister Rhonda Boddicker (John) of Platte City, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
