She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman and Luverne; her spouse Camillus Walsh (Kelly); and her son Steven Walsh. She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Walsh of Philadelphia, PA, Kathleen Walsh (Frank Hoffstadt) of San Diego, CA and Mary Walsh (Casey Brodsack); and her granddaughter Kelila Rotto of Bethesda, MD..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The American Heart Association in Ruth's name.
