Richard Oberhelman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Oberhelman of Manson, Iowa, who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Oberhelman and Blanche Oberhelman (Carstens). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Bohn; his children, Lisa Lang of Manson, Kim Quade (Paul) of Manson and Kris Reicks (Bryan) of Newton; his great grandchildren, Danielle Carlson (Nick), Cade, Lainey Carlson, Amanda Hoffman (Tyler), Ellie, Violet Hoffman, Nicole Kuhns (Jeff), Maddox, Quinn, Hollis, Brooks, Bennett Kuhns, Ashley Plantz (JR), Emmett, Ada, Rowan Plantz, Shelby Karns (Dan), Davis Karns, Rylee Quade, Jackson Quade, Taylor Reicks (Hannah), Roslynn, Myles Reicks and Savannah Reicks; and his sister Mardella Bunger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Weishaar Chapel - Manson (1408 11th Ave, Manson, IA 50563). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the charitable discretion of the family.
