He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Sauter and Hildegard Sauter (Lang); and his brother Clarence. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Vitera; his children, Jeremy Sauter (Marian) of Rolfe, Jessica West (Ron) and Jennifer McAtee (Brandon) of Fort Dodge; and his grandchildren, Katrina, Jeffery, Iris, Evie and Korra.
