She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerd Peters and Henrietta Peters (Dornath); her husband Bentley Nissen; her children, Cheryl Reed and David; her grandson Brett; her great grandchild Ambriel Koop; and her siblings, Donald Peters and Elaine Lawrence.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Laurie Nissen of Manson, IA; her sons, Ron Nissen (Lettie) of Ft. Dodge, IA and Ric Nissen (Elizabeth) of Manson, IA; and her siblings, Corliss Peters (Glenda) of Casper, WY and Carolyn Cirks of Manson, IA.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
