It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Della Nieland of Manson, Iowa, born in Breda, Iowa, who passed away on August 24, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Wittry and Magdalen Wittry (Snyder); her husband Patrick; her son Douglas; and her brothers, Eugene, Romaine and Ken Wittry.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Nieland (Cindy) of Ft. Dodge, IA, Craig Nieland (Nikki) of Manson, IA, Sharon Johnson (Craig) of Manson, IA and Tricia Wetzel (Rob) of St. Louis, MO; her daughters-in-law, Julie Nieland of Iowa City, IA and Mindy Weldon of Omaha, NE; her brothers, Dale Wittry (Catherine) of Carroll, IA and John Wittry (Marceal) of Breda, IA; and her sisters-in-law, Joan Wittry of Carroll, IA and Jane Wittry of Allen, TX.. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, there will be a private visitation and funeral for only her immediate family.
