It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Hoag (Manson, Iowa), who passed away on February 4, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Hoag and Helen Hoag (Mather); his significant other Doris; and his siblings, Roland Hoag (Ron), Robert Hoag, Eldon Hoag and Eleanor Wachtel (Hoag).
He is survived by: his daughter DeAnne Lewis (Hoag); his grandchildren, Ronda, Matthew, Kirstyn, Braxton, Lewis Pennekamp and Savannah Lewis; his wife Mary; his children, Brenden, Christine Hoag, Drew and Caitlin Daubman (Hoag); his grandchildren, Mary, Michaela Hoag, Louisa and William Daubman; his son Richard Hoag (Dick); his granddaughters, Emily, Laura and Jennifer Haynes; his children, Frank and Debra (John Knipper); his grandchildren, Peter and Angela Knipper (Annie); and his son-in-law Ronald B. Lewis. He is also survived by the many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
