She was predeceased by: her husband Galen H. Harms; her parents, Hugo Edward Heinrich and Ola Christina Ress (Meisel); her siblings, Ramona Ress, Hugo Jr. and Benjamin Ress; her parents-in-law, Edward and Martha Harms; and her brother-in-law Raymond Harms.
She is survived by: her children, Gaile, Duane Harms (Janette) of Anamosa and Diane Martinson (Larry) of Marion; her grandchildren, Kurt (Catie), Forrest (Kaylee), Amanda Martinson, Kristine Jen Guevarra, Duane, Jr., Abby Lee Harms and Kristine Munier; and her godchildren, Paul Ehlers, Randy Harms, David Schlueter, Elaine Wenndt, Allison Erickson and Matthew Wenndt. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
