It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Bernard Saunders of Manning, Iowa, born in Carroll, Iowa, who passed away on October 18, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle H. Saunders and Jeanne Saunders (Donnelly); his siblings, Denny Saunders and Millie Saunders; and his close friend Teri Amsden.
He is survived by: his pet Little Bit; his siblings, Kay Houghton of Omaha, NE and Carl Saunders (Debbie) of Fort Madison, IA; and his stepdaughters, Amy Henkel (Evan) of Bennington, NE and Sonya Olson of Omaha. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many good friends.
