He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph and Dorothy Wurr (Onken); his wife Virgine Wurr; his son David Wurr; his daughter-in-law Denice Wurr; his siblings, Ivan Wurr (Joyce), Darwin Wurr (Marie), Shirley Wenck (Albert) and Donna Wright (Kenneth); and his brothers-in-law, LaVern Fendrich and Raymond Fendrich.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Wurr (Teresa "Nook") of Colorado Springs, Colorado, James Wurr (Cindy) of Ankeny, Iowa, Donald Wurr of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Robert Wurr of Defiance, Iowa; his grandchildren, Nicole McCann (Alan), Tonya Jones (Ryan), Tara Odendahl (Steve), Teresa Bach (Roger), Trista Plante (Austin), Tyler Wurr (Brooke), Melissa Johnson and Jessica Allen (David); his great grandchildren, Alister McCann, Ryker Odendahl, Landon, Kellan Jones, Braxton, Brevyn Bach, Kyler, Camden Johnson, Priya, Harper, Haven Odendahl, Teresa Braylee Bach and Remington Allen; and his brother Larry Wurr (Sharon). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
