Ruth Crandall Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Crandall (Manning, Iowa), who passed away on July 2, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anders Sand and Petrea Sand (Pedersen); her husband Richard; her siblings, Harald Sand, Mildred Sullivan, Harold Sand, Evald Sand, Ejnar Sand and Leroy Sand; and her siblings-in-law, Duane Whaley, Joseph Cerveny, Donald Sullivan, Charles Henderson, Mary Sand and LaDonna Sand.
She is survived by: her children, David Crandall (Vikki), Anne Crandall (Susan Crandall), Barbara Hergert (Greg) and Suzanne Crandall; her grandchildren, Geoffrey, Steven Crandall, Meghan, Mason Hergert, Jamie Mough (Ellie Ross) and Amanda Mough; her great grandchild Grady Mough; her siblings, Elsie Cerveny, Eleanor Magneson (Wayne), Esther Henderson and Kenneth Sand (Carolyn); and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Sand and Carol Whaley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Manning United Methodist Church or PEO International, an organization with the mission of supporting women to pursue their educational goals.
