She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Riesselman and Celia Riesselman (Muhlbauer); her husband Frank Handlos; her grandsons, Quinn Handlos and Chris Handlos; her stepgrandson Eric Julius; her great great grandchild Madelyn Susanne Duflo; and her siblings, Sophia Sailer (Martin) and Joseph Riesselman (Catherine).
She is survived by: her children, Gary Handlos of Boise, ID, Linda Juergens (Arthur) of Fairmont, MN and Tom Handlos (Delores) of Sibley, IA; her brother Alfred Riesselman (Velma) of Carroll, IA; and her sister-in-law Loretta Handlos of Manning, IA. She is also survived by five grandchildren; one step-grandson; 16 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren.
