He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sextro and Clara Sextro (Lechtenberg); his wife Dolores Sextro (Laurie); his daughter Teresa Buffington (Terri); his siblings, Helen Lampe, Leo Sextro, Edward Sextro, Herb Sextro, Dorothy Masching, Norbert Sextro, Ruth Vanderheiden, Maxine Meier and Edna Sextro; his siblings-in-law, Connie Gross, Francis, Bernard and Melvin Gross; his niece Faith Steinkamp; and his nephews, James, Stephen Gross and Thomas Vanderheiden.
He is survived by: his sons, Greg Sextro (Sandra) of Manning and Mark Sextro (Clint) of San Diego, California; his sister Marie Sextro of Carroll; his son-in-law Mike Buffington (Adele) of San Diego; his granddaughters, Katie Sextro, Grace Sextro, Jennifer Buffington and Marit Buffington; and his siblings-in-law, Don Gross, Warren Meier, Marlene Gross, Diane Gross and Dora Sextro. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
