He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Felix and Anna Grace Meier (Billmeier); and his sisters, Irma Gehling (Leonard) and JoAnn Wittrock. He is survived by: his brother Melvin Meier (Arlene) of Manning; his brother-in-law Harold Wittrock of Templeton; and his nieces and nephews, Duane Gehling, Diane Bebernis, Doreen Lappe (Mike), Darrell Wittrock (Nancy), Denise Weitl (Mark), Darvin Wittrock (Lana), Steven Meier (Patty), Jim Meier (Karla) and Jeff Meier (Jodi). He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
A rosary will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Ohde Funeral Home - Manning (108 1st St, Manning, IA 51455). Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church - Manning (203 Sue St, Manning, IA 51455). A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (610 N East St, Manning, IA 51455).
Memorials may be directed to the Sacred Heart Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund in Butch's name.
