He was predeceased by: his parents, Severiano Villegas and Florentina Martinez; his wife JoAnn Villegas; and his siblings, Theresa Villegas Mason, Jean Vigil Bachlor, George Villegas and Phillip Villegas.
He is survived by: his children, Jodean Rupert-Groesbeck of Flower Mound, Texas and Roderick "Rowdey" Rupert of Brandon, Minnesota; and his siblings, Mary Villegas Lira of Colorado, Ed Villegas of Montana and Cathy Villegas Delaney of Colorado. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren.
