With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnathan Asmus (Manning, Iowa), born in Saint Anthony, Iowa, who passed away on June 26, 2019 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William, Ella Asmus, Edwin and Elsie Willesen; his father Amos Asmus; his nephew Benjamin Pedersen; and his aunts and uncles, Pearl, Emil Kurth, Arlene, George Bruhn and Sharon Grimm.
He is survived by: his mother Myra Asmus of Manning; his siblings, Mark Asmus (Michelle) of Audubon, David Asmus (Linda) of Alden, James Asmus (Lori) of Manilla, Darrin Asmus of Audubon, Stephen Asmus (Sarah) of Audubon, Melissa Pedersen (Brad) of Fort Dodge and Kathryn Hughes (David) of Chesapeake, Virginia; and his uncle Dennis Grimm of Manning. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
