He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Irlbeck and Margaret Catherine Irlbeck (Underberg); and his siblings, Mary Helen, Bernard "Sonny" Irlbeck, John Irlbeck (Barbara), Mary Ann Irlmeier (Frank), Raymond Irlbeck and James Irlbeck.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Steffes; his children, David Irlbeck (Michelle) of Salem, Illinois and Sarah Segebart (Andrew) of Carroll; his grandchildren, Alicia Hughes, Nichole Garcia, Shawn Scarlett, Brittany Oldham, Alisha Keller, Madeline, Elizabeth and Adam Segebart; his brothers, LeRoy Irlbeck (Elaine) of Manning, Thomas Irlbeck (Dawn) of Aspinwall, Fred Irlbeck (Karen) of Aspinwall and Eugene "Gene" (Mary Jo) of Carroll; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Irlbeck of Carroll, Marian Irlbeck of Aspinwall and Pat Irlbeck of Manning. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
