She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Jensen and Florence Jensen (Sanders); her husband Galen Ferry; her siblings, Glen Jensen (Lenore), Joyce Schroeder (Gerald), Donna Hansen (Marlon), Ellen Rasmussen (Jack) and Arlene Sinow (Henry); and her brother-in-law Loren Ferry.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Ferry of Schleswig and Todd Ferry (Chris) of Sioux City; her grandchildren, Matt Ferry (Breanna) of Solon, IA, Paxton Cutler (Troy) of Sioux City and Lexis Morgan (Trey) of Sioux City; her great grandchildren, Owen, Keely, Quinn Cutler, Lenox, Hendrick and Hayes Morgan; her sister Phyllis Tow (Richard) of Minneapolis, MN; and her sisters-in-law, Marla Crane (Larry) of Overland Park, KS and Jeanette Ferry of Manilla. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the United Church of Christ (409 Maple Ave, Schleswig, IA 51461). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at the Morgan Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Janice's name to the Schleswig Public Library.
