He was predeceased by: his father Harold Cole (Coley); his wife DeLores Kaduce of Thompson; his siblings, Dorothy and David; and his mother Minnie Cole (Reveland).
He is survived by: his children, Donna Schoneboom (Mike) of Polk City, Dixon Cole (Karie) of Manning and Debbie Nielsen (Brad) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Kristy Houghton (Hiram), Matthew Cole (Susannah), Stacy Anderson (Chris), Andrea Troutner (Jeff), Nate Nielsen and Jacob Nielsen; and his great grandchildren, James Cole, Madelyn Cole, Hannah Cole, Grace Troutner, Nicholas Troutner, Sydney Houghton, Lincoln Cole, Jack Houghton, Parker Anderson, Cole Anderson, Nora Houghton and McKenna Anderson.
