She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Sr. Koch and Anna Koch (Boger); her husband Don Maasen; her children, Darlis Vauble and Dennis Maasen; her siblings, Leroy Koch (Norma), Leonard Koch (Maxine), Dale Koch (Shirley) and Maxine (Herbert Namanny); and her siblings-in-law, Glenn Lenz, Leonard Walde, Donald Meyer and Ladean (John McClellan).
She is survived by: her sons, Dave Maasen (Donna) of Waukee and Doug Maasen (Starr) of Missouri Valley; her children-in-law, Sharon Maasen of Westside and Tim Vauble of Omaha, NE; and her sisters, Shirley Walde of Westside and Jolene Meyer of Carroll. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
