Duane LeRoy Graversen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2025, at the age of 93, Duane LeRoy Graversen (Manly, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Soren "Sam"; his former wife Betty Jean Dickson; and his mother Laura. He is survived by: his brother Les; his wife Marlene Peterson; his grandchildren, Josh Neville (Tasha), Christopher Neville (Abbie) and Karsen Kettwick; his sister-in-law Betty Graversen (late Les); his niece Nancy James (Bill); his great-nephews, Chad and Andy James; his niece Pam; his brother Lavern "Smokey" Graversen; and also Ben.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bride Colonial Chapel (110 E Spring St, Manly, IA 50456). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Elk Creek Lutheran Church (4108 Killdeer Ave, Kensett, IA 50448).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Elk Creek Church, Kinney Pioneer Museum or the Plymouth Volunteer Fire Department.
