She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fred and Adelia Odefy (Lapel); her husband Francis Mesenbrink; her children, Gerald Mesenbrink and Joan Wittrock; her grandchildren, Renee and Adam; and her siblings, Erma Vogt, Lydia Bechen, Leona Odefy, Ellen Bechen, Hilda Comstock, Elvin Odefy and Arlo Odefy.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Mesenbrink (Edie) of Edmond, Oklahoma, Merle Mesenbrink (Deanna) of Cherokee and Craig Mesenbrink (Sue) of Storm Lake; her son-in-law Jim Wittrock of Manning; and her grandchildren, Rhonda, Rick, Renita, RaeJean, Kim, Kristie, Karla, Rachel, Maria, Eric, John and Nicholas. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
