Roger L. Georgius Obituary
The memory of Roger L. Georgius (Manilla, Iowa), who passed away on March 7, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Georgius and Augusta Ann Georgius (Jansen); his wife Della Georgius; his grandson Nathan Chalberg; his siblings, Dorothy Conlin (Jerry) and Robert Georgius (Betty); his sister-in-law LaVanna Opperman (Ray); and his parents-in-law, Claus and Emma Rohde.
He is survived by: his daughter Gail (David Chalberg) of Zumbrota, MN; and his grandson Jonathan (Mary Chalberg). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Manilla Memorial Hall (550 Main St, Manilla, IA 51454).
Memorials may be directed to the Shriners Children's Hospital in Minneapolis, MN or the United Church of Manilla in Roger's name.
