He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Grage and Emma Grage (Hansen); his son Carl Grage; his brothers, Claus Grage, Donald Grage (Betty) and Larry Grage; and also, Dorothy Mundt, Delores, Frank Schmitz, Carl Mundt and Bill Mundt.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Grage of Manilla; his sons, Doug Grage (Sandy) of Lehigh Acres, Florida, Brad Grage (Barb) of Waterloo and Terry Grage (Cathy) of Ralston, Nebraska; his daughter-in-law Diana Grage of Colo; his sisters-in-law, Karlene Helbig (Louis) of Marion, Leona Grage of Wooddale, Illinois and Betty Mundt of Madrid; his grandchildren, Shanon, Kelly, Scott, Ed, Eric, Angie, Nichole, Jon and Sara; and his stepgrandchildren, Brian, Tammy, Tony, Dawn, Emily, Bobby, Patrick, Amanda and Mathew. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
