She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugo August and Anna Margretha Grau (Waller); her husband Francis Mitzel; her close friend Virgil Boyens; her siblings, Walter Grau (Helen), Amanda Martens (Walt), Bernice Crouch (Ancel), Hugo Grau (Jan) and Ralph Grau (Theresa); her daughter Karen Lampman; her son-in-law Jim Goeser; her grandson Chris Goeser; her great grandchild Alexi Goeser; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Katie Kernes.
She is survived by: her daughter Janet Goeser of Harlan; her son-in-law Ralph Lampman of Arcadia; and her grandchildren, Cari Kernes (Glenn) of Overland Park, Jay Goeser (Mary Beth) of Norwalk and Jeff Goeser (Chris) of Elkhorn, Nebraska. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandson; six great-great-grandchildren.
