He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Schrader and Edith Schrader (Zirtzman); his wife Ann Weber; his son Timothy; and his parents-in-law, Sharon Mattern, Joe Weber (Lavonne), Robert Weber and Jim Olinger.

He is survived by: his children, Todd Schrader (Shelly) of Manchester, Daniel Schrader (Linda Burkle) of Earlville and Susan Theisen (Lyle) of Dyersville; his grandchildren, Danica Schrader, Darris Morris (Brock), Addison Schrader, Blake Schrader (Natalie Kuehni), Landon, Lauren, Lillianna and Laci Theisen; his sister Marilyn Olinger; and his in-laws, Carlyn Wessel, Mary Cooney (Tim), Michael Weber (Ginny), Loras Weber (Carol), Joanne Weber (Peter) and Linda Fergesen (Kevin). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
