He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane and Ruby Elsbury, Sr. (Hansen). He is survived by: his wife Joyce G. Bowers-Elsbury; and his sons, Marty A. Bowers of Marion, John Bowers (Colette) of Texas, Matthew Bowers (Helen) of Brooklyn and Cyle Bowers (Kasie) of Manchester. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two brothers and one sister.
