She was predeceased by: her parents, William Deutmeyer and Dora Deutmeyer (Geistkemper); her husband William "Bill" Deppe; her son-in-law Andy Soppe; her siblings, Tillie Harter (Serenus), Albert Deutmeyer (Marcella), Eddie Deutmeyer (Irma), Linus Deutmeyer (Alvina), Clarence Deutmeyer (Stella), Herb Deutmeyer (Rosie), Marie Braun (Al), Hank Deutmeyer (Doris) and Rita Klostermann (Ray); and her siblings-in-law, Lawrence Deppe (Helen), Leo Schemmel, Don Helle and Bertha Klas (George).
She is survived by: her children, Doris Soppe of Dyersville, Phyllis Bries (Jim) of Cottage Grove, Dan Deppe of Jordan, Jim Deppe of Petersburg, Patricia McDermott (Joe) of Morrison, Mary Kaye Tucker (Dick) of Manchester, Laurie Scherbring (Dan) of Edgewood, Elaine Klostermann (Dan) of Manchester, Diane Reth (Randy) of Hopkinton, Carl Deppe (Deb) of Petersburg and Lisa Deppe (Jeffrey Knehans) of Elkader; her sisters-in-law, Ardella Helle of Dyersville, Gladys Schemmel of Monticello and Hilda Reittinger (Melvin) of Dubuque; and her sister Julitta Deppe. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren.
