He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Allan and Leona Louise Longmuir (Klingman); his brothers, Robert Longmuir and James Longmuir; his sister-in-law Janice Longmuir; his parents-in-law, Inez and Wilbert Becker; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Becker and Ken Marinangeli.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Becker of Manchester; his children, Dr. Reid Longmuir (Susannah) of Nashville, Rebecca Rothfuss (Christopher) of North Liberty and RJ Longmuir of Independence; his grandchildren, Charlotte, Thomas Longmuir, Emily and Abigail Rothfuss; his sister Mila Smith (Kim) of Shell Rock; and his sister-in-law Norette Marinangeli of Versaillies, Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces; nephews; great nieces; and great nephews.
