She was predeceased by: her parents, Sedella Helle (Kramer) and Joan Helle (Jaeger); her husband Gerald Kelchen; and her siblings, MaryAnn Helle, Janet Schwendinger (John), Kathleen Helle and Henry Helle.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Kelchen (Patti) of Edgewood, David Kelchen (Christine) of Vinton, Lori Bunting (Tom) of Edgewood, John Kelchen (Cindy) of Manchester, Terry Kelchen (Christine) of Dyersville and Sara Richter (Joe) of Earlville; her siblings, Pearl Kelchen of Cedar Rapids, George Helle (Connie) of Anamosa, LeRoy Helle (Margie) of Hopkinton, Paul Helle (Stella) of Dyersville, Frank Helle (JoAnn) of Dyersville, Marlene Koopmann (Ambrose) of Epworth, Ruth Griffin (Larry) of Dubuque, Bob Helle (Cami) of Dyersville, LuAnn Cigrand (Bob) of Cascade, Joanie Tauke (Tom) of Greeley and Doris Riesburg (Clair) of Dyersville; and her sisters-in-law, Roselyn Kelchen of Dyersville, Rose Ann Kelchen of Edgewood and Mary Kelchen of Edgewood. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
