He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice, Sr. Hubler and Viola Hubler (Galitz); his wife Barbara Reinke; and his son Terry. He is survived by: his son Steve Hubler (Lynette) of Bondurant; his grandchildren, Gillian Hubler (Mitchell Lawley) of New York City and Garrett Hubler of Ankeny; and his brother-in-law Gerald Reinke (Sharon) of Oak Harbor, Washington..
