She was predeceased by: her parents, Hertha Charlotte Stebens Croker and Thomas Leo Croker; her husbands, Art Arends and Bill Lorenz; her brother John Croker (Jack); and her son Arthur John Arends III (Jack).
She is survived by: her daughters, Viv of Gleneden Beach, Jeni Thomas (Mike), Susi Gordon (Paul) of Clarendon Hills and Teresa Cox (Pat) of Canon City, Colorado.; her stepchildren, Victoria Moxley (Darrell) and Will Lorenz (Nicole); and her friend Florence Parrott. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
