It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Marie Loecke of Manchester, Iowa, born in Monticello, Iowa, who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Smith and Florence Smith (Murray); her children, Andy Loecke and Sally Loecke; her sister Kaye; her siblings-in-law, Jerry Hahn, Mary Ann Smith and Robert Rubner; her nephews, Phil and Randy Rubner; and her niece Michelle Hahn.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Mayo (Jim), Cindy Parker (Daryl) of Bellevue, Pete Loecke (Nicole) of Rose Hill, Mike Loecke (Megan) of Manchester, Tim Loecke (Joanna) of Manchester, Peggy Harbaugh (Tim) of Peosta and Mandy Munzer (Jason) of Golden, Colorado; her siblings, Lloyd Smith of New Vienna and Marilyn Rubner of Arlington; and her aunt Carlyn Hunt of Edgewood. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Greeley or Northeast Iowa Area Agency on Aging.
