He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Streif and Clara Streif (Detten); and his wife Mary Deloras. He is survived by: his children, Joan Hillers (Steven) of Manchester and John Streif of Iowa City; his grandchildren, David Hillers (Wanda) of Manchester, Dawn Holtz (Rick) of Urbana and Daniel Hillers (Nicki) of Urbana; his great grandchildren, Brock, Kendra Hillers, Logan, Claire Holtz, Mya, Kalyn and Oaklyn Hillers; and his friend Jerry Moorman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. James Episcopal Church in Independence.
