He is survived by: his children, Cindia Durnil of Cedar Rapids, Michael Jones of Wisconsin and Chris Jones of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Katelyn Durnil, Austin Durnil, Kyle Jones and Brooke Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Kay Sage (Douglas) of Lamont, Gwen Jones of Lamont and Ron Carpenter (Deb) of Lamont.
