Larry Allyn Swanson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2025, at the age of 77, Larry Allyn Swanson of Manchester, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Larry is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Larry's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Swanson and Dorothy Swanson (Kuehl). He is survived by: his wife Sandy Swanson of Manchester; his children, Amy Swanson of Manchester and Jordan Swanson of Madison, Wisconsin; and his sister Linda Mickens (David) of Manchester. He is also survived by three nieces.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Manchester Methodist Church (413 E Butler St, Manchester, IA 52057).
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to Second Helpings, The Delaware County Food Pantry, or any charity that helps feed people.
