He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Childs and Laura Childs (Ridenour); his parents-in-law, Russell and Irene Vette (Zubrod); his siblings, Francis Childs and Virginia Childs; his brother-in-law George Vette; his son-in-law Garret Paris; and his grandson Branden Samuel.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Childs of Manchester; his children, Keri Childs (Richard Milroy, Jr.) of Monticello, Scott Childs of Kettering and Jonica Tellin (Don) of Wadena; his grandchildren, Rick Milroy III, Amanda Goedken (Matt), Gabrielle Milroy, Brittney Redig (Colton), Aubrey Paris (Noah), Kimberly Durnan (Tyler) and Andrea Paris; his great grandchildren, Addison, Leah, Ben, Evelyn, Lillian, Madison, Allie, Cooper, Branden, Maria, Emma and Charlie; and his siblings, Jean Rose (Steve) and W. Verne Childs (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
