It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaRae Carolan Elkader Iowa (Manchester, Iowa), born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Kussatz and Myrtle Kussatz (Jensen); her husband David Jerome Carolan; and her daughter Denise. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Carolan (Linda) of Robinsdale, Daniel Carolan of Farmersburg, Michael Carolan (Catherine) of Viola, Robert Carolan (Beverly) of Dubuque, Thomas Carolan (Shannon) of Tampa and Jennifer Meyer (Michael) of Manchester; her grandchildren, Joshua Carolan (Catherine Vander Zee), Stephanie Carolan, Stacy Carolan, Jason Ohrt (Debbie), Jared Ohrt (Sarah), Ryan Carolan, Nick Carolan, Adam Carolan and Ryan Lindahl (Jennifer); her children, Noah Carolan, David Meyer and Shannon Meyer; and her brother Joseph Kussatz (Kathy) of Davenport. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
