With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Ann Berns of Manchester, Iowa, who passed away on February 25, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Albrecht and Doris Albrecht (Madsen). She is survived by: her husband LaVerne Berns; her sons, Steve Berns (Leanne) of West Union, David Berns (Barb) of Ankeny and John Berns (Bev) of Decorah; her grandchildren, Charlie, Emily and Mary; her great grandchildren, Lane, Kyo, Raelynn and Nico; and her sisters, Jan Daniel (Ken) and Mary Gruver (Bill). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
