He is survived by: his wife Helen Bockenstedt of Manchester; his children, Jim Nurre of Adel, Bob Nurre (Joye) of Kenesaw, Mary Barton (Steve) of Des Moines, Bill Nurre of Marion and Mike Nurre of Marion; his siblings, Gary Nurre (Rita) of Petersburg, Rosemary Nickol and Kenny Nurre (Dorothy) of Dyersville; and his brother-in-law Dave Steffen of Luxemburg. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
